Cornell Cooperative Extension of Yates County
Their Money in Your Pocket program uses ONYA grant funds to provide financial literacy education for women and families, equipping them with practical budgeting and money-management skills that build long-term confidence and economic stability.
Geneva 2030
ONYA funds will support a leadership and college-readiness initiative for girls at Geneva High School, inspiring future women leaders through higher-education exposure, career-pathway exploration, and individualized support.
Family Hope Center – Geneva
Their Courageous Beauty program uses ONYA grant support to provide girls ages 11–18 with mentoring, education, and peer support that helps them navigate daily challenges and strengthen self-esteem, resilience, and personal growth.
Quail Summit of Canandaigua
Through The Nancy Project – Pathways to Purpose, ONYA funding will support seminars facilitated by female staff for women in the early stages of dementia, promoting connection, mental stimulation, and a sense of purpose.
Wood Library
ONYA grant funding will support Wellness for Women, a series of workshops offering health, nutrition, and wellness education designed to help women make informed choices that strengthen their overall well-being.
Family Counseling Services of the Finger Lakes
Their Rising Voices initiative uses ONYA funds to provide monthly and after-school workshops for teen girls at Naples High School, focusing on social-emotional learning, leadership development, and entrepreneurial skill-building.
Pro Action of Yates, Inc.
ONYA funds will help provide essential feminine hygiene items and personal-care products for women and girls living in Penn Yan, ensuring access to basic necessities that support dignity, comfort, and daily well-being.
Boys and Girls Club of Geneva
ONYA grant support will strengthen programs for mothers and children in the first 1,000 days of life by providing diapers, observing developmental milestones, and offering support to caregivers of children ages 0–3.
